Islamic Affairs Ministry Organizes Intensive Sharia Course for Religious Leaders in Bandung

Bandung: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attach© at the Saudi Embassy in Indonesia, is organizing an intensive Sharia course to train preachers, imams, and khateebs in Bandung, with the participation of approximately 150 attendees.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the course, which began yesterday, covers the approach of Ahl Al-Sunnah wa Al-Jamaah in matters of creed and the importance of adhering to the Quran and Sunnah. It also addresses the impact of sound creed on a Muslim's conduct and righteous deeds, as well as the role of preachers, imams, and khateebs in conveying Islamic knowledge through an approach based on wisdom, compassion, moderation, and balance.

The course is part of the outreach programs implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance outside Saudi Arabia to train preachers, imams, and khateebs, disseminate sound Islamic knowledge, promote values of moderation and balance, uphold the approach of the Quran and Sunnah, and serve Islam and Muslims.
