Istanbul:The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group is actively participating in the 42nd Ministerial Session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC). The session is being held in Istanbul from October 31 to November 3, under the chairmanship of Türkiye, with delegations from member states and institutions of joint Islamic action in attendance.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the IsDB Group's participation is guided by specific mandates within COMCEC's agenda. It is presenting official reports on the implementation of major joint programs, notably the performance of the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development and the Special Program for the Development of Africa.

The group's involvement offers direct benefits to member states by providing flexible financing solutions and credit initiatives. These measures are designed to mitigate trade risks and facilitate the flow of goods and services, thereby stimulating sustainable economic growth.
