Islamic University of Madinah Hosts ‘Iftar Around the World’ with Over 180 Nationalities

Madinah: The Islamic University of Madinah organized the third edition of the 'Iftar Around the World' event on Sunday, aligning it with the Kingdom's celebration of Founding Day. The event was attended by Dr. Saleh Alagla, President of the Islamic University of Madinah.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event saw extensive participation from students of different nationalities, all coming together at a single iftar table, showcasing the cultural diversity embraced by the university. The student body represents over 180 nationalities and speaks dozens of languages, reflecting principles of coexistence and mutual understanding among various peoples.

The event featured traditional Ramadan dishes representing the cultures of the participating countries, providing students an opportunity to learn about different customs and traditions. This also enhanced cultural and social interaction in an environment characterized by harmony and fraternity.
