Jaffaria Waqf Directorate: 105 bids received for 12 endowment properties

The Tenders and Auctions Committee of Jaffaria Waqf Directorate (JWD) organized a public session to open bids in endowment auctions for June 2023.

The session was broadcasted live on the administration’s digital platforms for applicants and the public to see all the proceedings of the session, as the committee received 105 bids for 12 endowment properties.

Yusuf bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of JWD, hailed the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the government's follow-up led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for all houses of worship.

He also praised the support of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments.

Al Saleh said that the Jaffariya Awqaf Directorate is moving forward in offering real estate for lease and endowment investment according to the bidding system in line with the best practices.

He added that all details of real estate offered for investment are made available, in line with the directorate's efforts to achieve the development of the endowment and the effective contribution to the economic and social development in the Kingdom.

Anwar Saeed Al Haddad, President of the Tenders and Auctions Committee, affirmed that this session comes as in implementation of the royal directives to promote transparency in all management affairs, especially the rental and investment of endowment real estate.

He noted that endowment real estate auctions for June included complexes and endowment properties, totaling up to12 properties in Mahooz, Abu Saiba, Shakhoura, Jannusan, Jid Ali, Dumistan, Southern Sehla, Tashan and Al Maqsha.

He added that the bids will be studied and the necessary recommendations will be submitted to the JWD for approval.
