Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, January 31, 2023, SPA– Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Fumio Iwai, has visited Al-Ahsa Dates Festival, held under the slogan “Sweeter Dates 2023” and organized by Al-Ahsa municipality at Al-Ahsa Municipality Castle in Hofuf.
The Japanese ambassador expressed his happiness with the activities and programs he witnessed at the festival, pointing to his previous visits to a number of date festivals in various regions of the Kingdom, which demonstrate the importance of dates and their transformative products in the Kingdom and the world.
The festival, which lasts until February 18, 2023, is witnessing various events and activities, in addition to the exhibition of 40 handicrafts famous in Al-Ahsa.
