Tokyo: The Japanese stock market closed mixed today, with the Nikkei index experiencing a minor decline and the broader TOPIX index showing a slight increase.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Nikkei index fell by 0.1% to close at 50,602.80 points. In contrast, the TOPIX index showed a positive movement, rising by 0.1% to close at 3,389.02 points.
