Jazan, Media spokesperson for the Civil Defense Directorate in Jazan region, Colonel Mohammad Al-Ghamdi, stated that on Friday 01/10/2021, the Civil Defense received a number of reports of the fall and scattering of shrapnel in a residential neighborhood in Uhud Al-Masarha governorate of Jazan region.

He further said this happened due to the interception of a booby-trapped drone launched by the terrorist Houthi militia towards the Kingdom, which resulted in material damage to a number of houses and shops due to the fall and scattering of the shrapnel.

This damage did not result in any injuries or deaths and the procedures adopted in such cases were immediately implemented, Colonel Al-Ghamdi underscored.
