Jazan: Jazan University launched a project to establish a center in Jazan for future skills during its participation in LEAP 2026, in partnership with Atomcamp and under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. The project aims to localize technology, develop national capabilities, and support the region's innovation ecosystem.

According to Saudi Press Agency, University President Dr. Mohammed bin Hassan Abu Rasin explained that the project serves as a regional center for talent development in artificial intelligence and digital innovation. It focuses on developing specialized skills, supporting entrepreneurship and startups, and strengthening cooperation between academia and industry, helping align educational outcomes with labor market requirements and future jobs.

The center includes inaraX, an AI-powered learning platform designed to accelerate applied learning in digital transformation, develop beneficiaries' professional competencies, and equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to work with modern technologies.

Abu Rasin stressed that the project reflects Jazan University's commitment to empowering talent, supporting innovation, localizing emerging technologies, and building a generation capable of leading the future, in line with national targets to develop the digital economy and foster innovation.

He also highlighted the importance of LEAP as a global platform that brings together technology leaders, innovators, and investors, enabling universities to forge strategic partnerships, explore the latest technological trends, and transform knowledge and scientific research into practical projects that help develop the digital economy and achieve national targets.
