Jazan: Native plants in Jazan Region represent one of the most prominent elements of its environmental and natural distinction. The region's rich plant diversity reflects its varied terrain, spanning plains, valleys, and mountain slopes, making it an appealing destination for ecotourism and wilderness exploration.

According to Saudi Press Agency, among these, Euphorbia fractiflexa stands out for its distinctive presence in the regional landscape. A spiny succulent widespread across several natural sites, it grows as a dense shrub ranging from one to two meters in height, with fleshy stems that store water, giving it a high capacity to withstand drought. It thrives in lowlands, valley banks, and lower mountain slopes.

The shrub blooms in spring and summer, producing small yellow flowers, and its nectar contributes to the production of honey known for its distinct properties.

Alongside other native plants, it reinforces Jazan's standing as a prominent natural destination in the Kingdom, supporting Saudi Vision 2030 objectives to develop tourist destinations and sustainably utilize natural resources.
