Jeddah: The Saudi Sailing Federation is hosting the Arab Optimist Sailing Championship at the Jeddah Sailing Center on the Abhur coast from September 17 to 21, 2026, with about 90 young sailors aged 8 to 15 from 13 Arab countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the championship opens tomorrow, September 17, with registration, equipment inspection, and a practice race. The Arab Cup team race will be held on September 18, followed by fleet races through September 21, and will conclude with the awards ceremony and closing celebration.
