Jeddah Municipality Launches Three-Phase Sanitation Plan for Hajj Season

Jeddah: Jeddah Municipality has launched its cleaning plan for the 1447 AH Hajj season, to be implemented in three phases, as part of its preparations to serve pilgrims, residents, and visitors of the governorate.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the General Administration of Cleaning Projects is operating according to a field plan aimed at raising service quality and ensuring the safety and comfort of pilgrims, and the swift removal of the effects resulting from the large influx of pilgrims or visitors to Jeddah. Approximately 5,770 personnel have been mobilized and 834 pieces of equipment allocated.

The municipality affirmed that the Hajj plan includes establishing an emergency team in each district, ready to respond immediately, intervene to address and resolve any emergencies, fill coverage gaps, and handle reports around the clock.
