Jeddah: The world’s motorsport fans are turning their attention to Jeddah as the governorate prepares to host the finale of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) from November 26 to 29.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the WRC Rally Saudi Arabia 2025, backed by Jameel Motorsport and overseen by the Ministry of Sport, is being organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) and promoted by the Saudi Motorsport Company (SMC).
The championship finale marks the first time Saudi Arabia hosts a WRC round and will feature 82 drivers and co-drivers from 25 countries, competing across three classes. Among them are Saudi drivers Hamza Bakhashab (RC2) and Saeed Almouri (RC3), graduates of the Saudi Next Gen program, designed to support and develop local talent in motorsports.
Saudi Next Gen forms part of ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Sport, SAMF, and SMC, aimed at supporting young Saudi talent, providing aspiring male and female drivers from across the Kingdom the opportunity to compete at
the highest level and step into the world of motorsports.
