Jeddah to Host Third International Conference on Legal and Sharia Studies

Jeddah: Jeddah will host the Third International Conference on Legal and Sharia Studies under the theme "Laws and Modern Trends" from July 3 to 5. The conference will bring together academics, judges, lawyers, legal consultants, and researchers from across the Arab and Islamic worlds at the Holiday Inn Jeddah.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Chair of the conference organizing committee Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Zahrani said the conference continues to strengthen its position as a specialized scientific platform for exchanging expertise and highlighting the latest developments in legal and Sharia studies. He noted that the third edition will feature 34 peer-reviewed research papers and scientific studies. It will also include a number of scientific posters presented by researchers and experts from universities, scientific and legal institutions, and law firms.

Al-Zahrani added that the conference will discuss a range of specialized topics, including legislation and judicial regulations, governance and corporate accountability, arbitration and investment, international humanitarian law, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybercrime, the objectives of Sharia and contemporary jurisprudence, as well as other emerging legal and intellectual issues.
