According to Saudi Press Agency, Jeddah Yacht Club has become one of Jeddah's premier waterfront destinations, combining scenic views with a wide range of entertainment options, restaurants, and caf©s while offering a comprehensive marine tourism experience. The destination contributes to maritime tourism and supports efforts to diversify the national economy.

The club is home to a specialized maritime academy that offers training programs accredited by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA). The programs include dinghy sailing, keelboat sailing, wingfoiling, and powerboat training for adults and children.

The academy also organizes summer camps for children aged seven to 15, combining adventure, learning, and water sports to promote teamwork and develop practical skills through sailing and kayaking under the supervision of qualified instructors.
