Joint Forces Commander Meets Yemeni Leadership to Discuss Military Cooperation

Riyadh:Commander of the Joint Forces Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Salman met with General Tariq Saleh, Commander of the National Resistance Forces and member of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, at the Joint Forces Command headquarters.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing developments in Yemen and strategies to enhance and coordinate joint efforts for supporting the readiness of the Yemeni Armed Forces. This includes efforts on all fronts to restore the state and its national institutions.

Lieutenant General Fahd Al-Salman expressed gratitude to General Tariq Saleh for his leadership within the Presidential Leadership Council and his command of the National Resistance Forces. He acknowledged the significant sacrifices made by the National Resistance in the effort to restore the state and end the coup.

General Tariq Saleh praised the support from the Joint Forces Command, which has bolstered the capabilities of both the Yemeni Armed Forces and the National Resistance Forces. He highlighted efforts to unify ranks and rehabilitate the forces to fulfill their national duties.

General Saleh also expressed confidence in the unwavering determination of the Yemeni Armed Forces members to continue their national duties. He stressed the importance of enhancing readiness, coordination, and integration of efforts to meet future challenges.

Both leaders emphasized the significance of unity, concerted efforts, and continued coordination to strengthen morale, reorganize units, and enhance combat readiness. Their joint action aims to restore the state and its institutions, contributing to the aspirations of the Yemeni people for security, stability, and a prosperous future.
