Amman-- The Jordanian government condemned today the attack on a security checkpoint in the Ismailia governorate of Egypt, killing three Egyptian police officers and injuring others.

The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) affirmed Jordan's solidarity with the government and people of Egypt, expressing its total rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism.

MoFA offered its condolence to families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
