The jury of the final qualifiers of the 43rd edition of the King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorization, Recitation and Interpretation of the Holy Quran has continued listening to the recitations of 21 contestants during the second day’s evening period of the competition.

The total number of contestants whose recitations have been evaluated so far reached 36 in the competition, which is organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call, and Guidance.

On Sunday, the jury listened to contestants representing countries including Lebanon, Togo, Chad, Indonesia, Jordan, Mali, Italy, Nigeria, Congo, Yemen, Sierra Leone, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Oman, Iraq, Sudan, Tanzania, Azerbaijan, the Philippines, the United States of America, Kuwait, and India.

It will resume its evaluations tomorrow on the third day of the final qualifiers by listening to the recitations of several participants in both morning and evening sessions, representing various countries from around the world.
