Tsukuba: King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE) participated in the 7th Research and Development 20 for Clean Energy Technologies (RD20) Conference, held in Tsukuba, Japan, under the theme ‘The Leading Edge of AI Technology for Energy, from Tsukuba to the World.’
According to Saudi Press Agency, the RD20 Conference is a significant research gathering that unites major institutions and research centers from G20 countries. The conference aims to promote international collaboration in clean energy research and the development of low-carbon technologies.
The Kingdom’s delegation at the conference was led by Eng. Hamad Mudij, Head of the Renewable Energy Technology Development and Innovation Sector at KACARE. He was accompanied by Dr. Saeed Al-Zahrani, Advisor to the CEO, along with a team of specialists from KACARE.
This participation underscores KACARE’s ongoing efforts to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s position in the global research, development, and innovation landscape. By fostering international partnerships, KACARE aims to support the development and localization of promising renewable energy technologies, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2060.
