KSGAAL and GASTAT Collaborate to Launch Arabic-English Statistical Terms Dictionary

Riyadh: The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) and the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) have introduced a new dictionary of statistical terms. This initiative is designed to standardize statistical concepts and serve as a comprehensive reference tool for researchers, decision-makers, and media professionals.

According to Saudi Press Agency, GASTAT was responsible for gathering the terms, ensuring they aligned with trusted international sources. This was followed by a meticulous review and translation process to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the terms.

The dictionary provides an extensive list of statistical terms and definitions that are commonly utilized in both national and international methodologies and reports. It is available in both Arabic and English, facilitating linguistic accuracy and broad accessibility.

GASTAT encourages interested individuals to explore the dictionary through the authority’s electronic portal. The resource aims to support improved understanding and communication within the field of statistics.
