KSrelief Distributes 1,130 Food Baskets in Benin

Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Tuesday distributed 1,130 food baskets across multiple departments in Benin. This significant contribution is part of an ongoing effort to address food insecurity in the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the latest distribution has benefited 6,780 individuals and is an integral component of the fifth Food Basket Distribution project scheduled for 2026. The project aims to distribute a total of 7,825 food baskets filled with essential food items. It targets 47,000 beneficiaries across several regions of Benin, highlighting the breadth and ambition of the initiative.

The effort is part of a broader humanitarian strategy by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, executed through KSrelief, to aid those in need and individuals affected by various disasters globally. This initiative underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to providing diverse forms of assistance to vulnerable populations worldwide.
