Gardez: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 557 food baskets on Saturday to returnees from neighboring countries, internally displaced persons, needy families, and orphans in Gardez City, the capital of Afghanistan's Paktia Province.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the aid benefited 3,342 individuals as part of the fifth Food Basket Project in Afghanistan for the year 2026. The initiative comes as an extension of the relief programs implemented by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support the Afghan people and alleviate their suffering during the holy month of Ramadan.
