Riyadh:The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has initiated a volunteer medical program focused on pediatric open-heart surgery in Kenya, running from September 30 to October 5, 2026. This initiative involves 12 volunteers, including medical, nursing, and technical staff.
According to Saudi Press Agency, since the program's inception, KSrelief's volunteer medical team has successfully performed two open-heart surgeries.
The program is a part of KSrelief's wider volunteer medical projects, which are undertaken by Saudi Arabia's humanitarian arm to help alleviate the suffering of patients and those injured in needful countries across the globe.
