KSrelief Launches Sacrificial Meat Distribution Project in Al-Mahrah Governorate

Al-mahrah: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) initiated a project today in Al-Mahrah Governorate for purchasing and distributing sacrificial meat in the Republic of Yemen for 1447 AH. This effort is in collaboration with the Charity Society for Orphan Care (Insan) in Riyadh. The project aims to distribute 500 sheep sacrifices to 1,000 families, benefiting 7,000 individuals from the most vulnerable groups.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Mahrah Governorate Undersecretary of Technical Affairs, Awad Qweizan, highlighted the project's significance in easing the suffering of needy families. He expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, for its ongoing humanitarian and development projects in Yemen.

The project involves the purchase and distribution of 4,140 sacrificial animals during Eid Al-Adha. These will be distributed to the most vulnerable groups across several governorates. The initiative aims to enhance food security, alleviate the suffering of beneficiary families, and bring joy during the blessed occasion.

The initiative is part of the broader humanitarian and relief efforts by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief. It seeks to support needy families, reduce their economic burdens, and promote social solidarity during Eid Al-Adha.
