The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched yesterday the voluntary medical project for open-heart surgery for adults in Kano, Nigeria, with the participation of 20 volunteers, in cooperation with the Muslim World League (MWL).
Since the beginning of the campaign, the Center's volunteer medical team has successfully performed four complex open-heart surgeries.
The project comes within the framework of the relief efforts provided by the Kingdom through KSrelief to support Nigeria's medical sector and promote the culture of volunteer work among the Saudi society, per the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
