The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) today launched the official website for the International Conference on Conjoined Twins, to be held under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The conference will involve the participation of the Ministries of the National Guard, Defense, Foreign Affairs, Health, Education, and Media, and several interested international humanitarian and health organizations, associations, institutions, specialists, and researchers from various countries worldwide. A group of twins who have previously undergone separation surgeries are attending the conference, along with their families. The conference will take place in Riyadh for two days, coinciding with World Conjoined Twins Day on November 24, adopted by the United Nations at the Kingdom's initiative. Advisor at the Royal Court and KSrelief Supervisor General Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah stated that the website was launched to facilitate regist ration for the conference. Participants, including ministers, leaders, and international experts specializing in separating twins, can register for the conference and keep track of all related developments. The website provides information about the conference venue and schedule; details of its events, activities, goals; and the ministerial, scientific, and humanitarian sessions in both Arabic and English. He noted that hosting the International Conference on Conjoined Twins in the Kingdom continues the successes of the Saudi Program for Conjoined Twins, which was initiated in 1990. Over the past 34 years, the program has seen 61 successful separation operations and evaluated 139 cases from 26 countries. The success is attributed to the support provided by the Kingdom's government under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
