KSrelief Masam Project Clears 1,105 Explosives from Yemeni Land Last Week

Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Masam Project, focused on explosives clearance in Yemen, successfully removed 1,105 explosives across various regions of the country during the fourth week of October. The cleared ordnance included 863 unexploded devices, 195 anti-tank mines, 25 explosive charges, and 22 anti-personnel mines. This effort brought the total number of explosives cleared in October to 5,235 and raised the overall tally since the launch of the Masam Project to 521,734.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these explosives were randomly planted across Yemen’s territories, endangering innocent lives of children, women, and the elderly, and spreading fear among civilians. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through its humanitarian arm KSrelief, continues its efforts to clear explosives in Yemen as part of a project that enhances civilian safety and helps Yemenis live a dignified and secure life.
