Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) yesterday signed a cooperation agreement at its headquarters in Riyadh with a civil society organization to implement a project to rehabilitate several public service facilities in the town of Haas in Syria's Idlib Governorate. The project will directly benefit 11,608 people and indirectly benefit 16,320 others. According to Saudi Press Agency, the agreement was signed by KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz. The initiative will rehabilitate a school, a health center, and a community facility, equipping them with furniture, essential supplies, and solar power systems. The work will restore their educational, healthcare, and community functions while providing a safe and suitable environment for residents. The rehabilitation effort is part of an initiative to restore educational facilities in Syria, which currently includes the rehabilitation, construction, and furnishing of 52 school s across several governorates. It also forms part of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian and relief efforts, carried out through KSrelief, to rehabilitate health and community infrastructure and support civil society organizations through impactful projects across Syria.
