KSrelief Supervisor Engages with UK Foreign Secretary on Humanitarian Initiatives

Riyadh: Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah today hosted Yvette Cooper, the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom, along with her delegation at KSrelief’s headquarters.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting centered on discussions about mutual interests in humanitarian and relief efforts. Both parties reviewed the latest updates on joint programs and projects and explored methods to enhance coordination to ensure effective aid delivery to the most vulnerable communities.

After the meeting, Secretary Cooper toured KSrelief’s permanent exhibition. The exhibition includes an interactive map of beneficiary countries, multimedia presentations highlighting humanitarian stories, a volunteer program display, and virtual reality headsets that provide an immersive experience of the lives of refugees and displaced persons.

Cooper also interacted with Saudi volunteer medical professionals involved in international humanitarian missions led by KSrelief. She listened to their experiences in conducting medical and volunteer projects overseas.

Additionally, Secretary Cooper visited the offices of KSrelief’s partner organizations and international agencies. She received briefings on their humanitarian and relief activities and the ongoing joint projects with KSrelief, commending the high professional standards of these organizations.
