Hadramout: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued its efforts in 2025 to support the Yemeni people through implementing the sixth phase of the prosthetics and rehabilitation project in Hadramout Governorate.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the project provides free medical and humanitarian services for individuals who have lost limbs, including prosthetic fitting, physical rehabilitation, and training of local staff to enhance medical and technical capacities in Yemen.
During the year, KSrelief provided 22,705 services benefiting 7,025 individuals. These included services under the prosthetics and orthotics program benefiting 400 individuals, 19,097 services under the physiotherapy program benefiting 3,424 individuals, and services under the technical rehabilitation program benefiting 360 individuals.
In addition, 741 medical consultation services were provided benefiting 734 individuals, while technical consultation services were delivered benefiting 2,107 individuals.
With the conclusion of the sixth phase of this humanitarian project, the outcome reflects a rich experience with deep impact, filled with lessons and stories that affirm that investing in people is the most genuine path toward sustainable change.
