KSrelief Supports Somalia’s Blood Bank Operations

Mogadishu: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) is continuing its efforts to implement the National Blood Bank operation project in Somalia's capital, Mogadishu.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the blood bank provided services to 229 beneficiaries in June 2026. Of these beneficiaries, 54% were male, while 46% were female. The services reached both internally displaced persons, who made up 9% of the beneficiaries, and local residents, who accounted for 91%.

The project is part of Saudi Arabia's broader humanitarian and relief initiatives executed through KSrelief. These efforts aim to support people in need and those affected by crises around the world.
