The State of Kuwait condemned and denounced the attack targeting the UN-peacekeeping forces in Southern Lebanon, Killing an Irish soldier and injuring others.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait called for launching an investigation into the incident to hold the perpetuals accountable, citing the principled and firm position of the State of Kuwait, against violence and terrorism.

It extended sincere condolence and sympathy to the government and people of Ireland and the family of the deceased, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
