Riyadh: State of Kuwait Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah emphasized that Kuwait's political leadership, led by Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, places significant importance on the historic and familial relations with Saudi Arabia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ambassador's remarks came during a celebration at the Kuwaiti embassy in Riyadh, commemorating Kuwait's 65th National Day and 35th Liberation Day. He described the Kuwaiti-Saudi relationship as more than just diplomatic ties, highlighting the shared history and destiny of the two nations. The relations are built on brotherhood, friendship, and social connections, continuously strengthened by the leadership and citizens of both countries.

Sheikh Sabah Nasser Al-Sabah noted that the Kuwaiti leadership's focus on bilateral ties underscores the unity and strong bonds between the two nations. He expressed that Saudi Arabia's celebrations are a source of pride for Kuwait, reflecting the mutual joy and support shared by both countries.

In his statement, the ambassador extended congratulations to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Saudi Arabia's Founding Day. He conveyed wishes for ongoing progress and prosperity for the Saudi leadership and its people.

The ambassador also remarked on the significance of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia celebrating national occasions together, affirming the shared joy and unity between the two nations.
