MP Saad: Maarab Agreement unshakable
MP Fadi Saad on Friday maintained that the reconciliation between the Lebanese Forces and the Free Patriotic Movement was unshakable, stressing that the agreement allowed to turn over a new leaf following decades of conflict between the two sides.
"Maarab Agreement does not fall because it turned over a long page of conflict," the Strong Republic bloc member said in an interview with Voice of Lebanon radio station.
He added that although the political entente was shaken, the LF was keen on "restoring it in preservation of the tenure's strength."
Moreover, Saad underlined that it was out of question for the LF to be out of the government. "This decision is not related to the political agreement with the FPM, but to the several projects our party seeks to execute."
