Riyadh: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity of the State of Libya expressed its strong condemnation of the statements issued by the terrorist Houthi militia targeting the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and threatening the security and safety of maritime navigation in the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry affirmed the State of Libya's full solidarity with the Kingdom in all measures it takes to safeguard its security, protect its territory, and preserve its sovereignty.

The ministry also called for adherence to international laws and conventions, as well as relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions, in a manner that contributes to maintaining regional peace and security and preventing further tension and escalation. It reaffirmed its support for international efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region.
