Tripoli, Libya-- Libya strongly condemned statements issued by the spokesperson for the Indian Bharatiya Janata Party who insulted Islam and Prophet Mohammed, peace and blessings be upon him.

In a statement, the foreign ministry of the Libyan National Unity government called for rejection of all practices and behaviors that call for violence and hatred.
