Libya Denounces Houthi Attacks on Saudi Arabian Facilities

Jakarta:The Libyan Government of National Unity's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has strongly condemned the Houthi militia's ongoing assaults on civilian and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia. These attacks targeted key locations such as Abha and King Khalid airports, resulting in casualties and injuries among both citizens and residents.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Libyan Foreign Ministry expressed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, pledging support for the measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its territory, citizens, and national assets.

The ministry highlighted that such attacks violate international law and humanitarian principles, posing a significant threat to Saudi Arabia's security and stability.

Reiterating its opposition to all forms of violence, the ministry voiced support for international efforts to de-escalate tensions and enhance regional security. Libya remains committed to backing Saudi Arabia in defending against attacks on its civilian infrastructure and ensuring the safety of its populace.
