Sharjah: The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission is preparing to lead Saudi Arabia’s participation in the 44th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2025), to be held from November 5 to 16 in the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Kingdom’s participation will feature a cultural presence that reflects the qualitative progress of the Saudi cultural sector and its growing openness to the world. This engagement is part of the commission’s ongoing efforts to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s presence in international cultural forums. By supporting national publishing houses, the commission aims to enable them to establish strategic partnerships.

Additionally, the participation seeks to highlight Saudi literary and intellectual production in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. This vision places culture at the core of the Kingdom’s global cultural engagement, emphasizing the importance of cultural exchange and collaboration on an international scale.
