Madinah: Governor of Madinah Region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz received in his office Director of Regional Police and Chairman of the Permanent Security Committee Major General Yousef Al-Zahrani, accompanied by a number of security leaders in the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the governor praised the role of the security authorities in implementing plans with high efficiency and stressed the importance of integrated efforts between security leadership and government and service entities to ensure the safety and security of residents and visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque and to mobilize all capabilities to serve worshippers.

Major General Al-Zahrani reviewed the comprehensive security and traffic preparations aimed at ensuring a safe and accessible environment for worshippers and visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan. The preparations are being carried out in coordination among various security and service sectors to achieve the highest levels of safety and comfort, particularly during peak traffic periods.

He expressed appreciation to Governor of Madinah Region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz for his support of the security sectors and his continued attention to ensuring full readiness across all concerned entities, as well as enhancing coordination to attain the highest standards of security and safety in line with the aspirations of the wise leadership.
