Madinah: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance today welcomed the first group of 250 pilgrim beneficiaries from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit upon their arrival in Madinah.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the group comprises pilgrims from 16 Asian countries, including Indonesia, Timor-Leste, the Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Singapore, China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mongolia.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom's leadership for its hospitality, which enabled them to perform Umrah and visit the Prophet's Mosque. They praised the Kingdom's commitment to serving pilgrims.
They also commended the ministry's role in implementing the program, noting that it helps strengthen the bonds of Islamic brotherhood while promoting the values of moderation, tolerance, and peace.
