Makkah: The General Directorate of Education in Makkah has launched a community initiative to daily provide 5,000 Iftar meals for fasting individuals during the holy month of Ramadan, reinforcing the values of loyalty and generosity inherent in the educational sector.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative involves the active participation of 500 male and female volunteers from the education sector, embodying the spirit of solidarity and highlighting the leading role of education in serving worshippers. Such programs enhance social responsibility and maximize the impact of volunteer work, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to develop the non-profit sector and cultivate a deep-rooted culture of volunteerism.
