Makkah Route Initiative Eases Moroccan Female Pilgrims’ Journey to Makkah

Rabat: Moroccan female pilgrims experienced moments of joy and longing for the Holy Kaaba inside the Makkah Route Initiative lounge at Rabat-Sal© International Airport, as tears of emotion mingled with serenity while completing their travel procedures to Makkah.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi personnel warmly welcomed and assisted pilgrims in scenes embodying the initiative's humanitarian dimension, with its organizational and digital services expediting procedures and raising service quality for pilgrims.

The Ministry of Interior is implementing the Makkah Route Initiative in its eighth year. Since its launch in 2017, the initiative has served more than 1,254,994 pilgrims.
