Makkah: The Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites has launched the second edition of its community initiative to support students from low-income families in partnership with the General Administration of Education in Makkah Region. This initiative aims to benefit 10,000 students as the new academic year begins.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative is being held over five days in the Sumou suburb of Makkah and features the participation of 12 partner entities and 103 volunteers. Students are receiving tablets, digital devices, school uniforms, backpacks, and essential study supplies.

The commission commended the roles of the public, private, and non-profit sectors, emphasizing that this collaboration reflects a shared commitment to serving students at all educational levels and to fostering social responsibility.
