Chairman of Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, Dr. Mohammad bin Sulaiman Al-Jasser, received at the headquarters of the IsDB Group in Jeddah today Malaysian Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Anwar Ibrahim, and his accompanying delegation.

Dr Al-Jasser said that the visit reflects the depth and strength of the relations between Malaysia and the IsDB as it is a founding member of the bank, pointing out that Malaysia is a model of success embodied in social and economic achievements.

For his part, the Malaysian Prime Minister valued the role played by the IsDB Group and its leadership in the tremendous economic support provided to the member states and the effective humanitarian assistance provided to vulnerable societies worldwide. He added that his visit provided an excellent opportunity to discuss strengthening cooperation between the IsDB Group and Malaysia.
