The Masaei Women’s Charitable Association team left today to participate in the Korea International Youth Olympiad (KIYO) 2023, to be held in Seoul on August 7. The team is participating under the supervision of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector.

The association will be represented by three high school students from its beneficiaries: Mayas Adel, with her invention of a wearable device to detect and avoid drowning; Rima Abdullah, with her invention of a system for identifying and organizing visitors in the facility; and Shahd Awad, with her invention of a device for sterilizing hands and putting on gloves.

The Masaei Charitable Association has won three medals (gold, silver and bronze) and many special awards through previous international participation.
