Riyadh: Mauritania strongly condemned the statements and threats made by the so-called military spokesperson for the Houthi militia, describing them as baseless allegations targeting the security and sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and threatening freedom of maritime navigation as well as the security of international waterways. According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement issued today by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mauritania reaffirmed its full and unwavering solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its steadfast support for all measures aimed at safeguarding the Kingdom's security, sovereignty, and vital interests. It also affirmed the Kingdom's sovereign right to take whatever measures it deems appropriate to protect its territory, its citizens, and the security of maritime navigation.
