Mawani Expands Support Services for Shipping Lines in Arabian Gulf

Dammam: The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) continues its initiative to support ships in the Arabian Gulf region by leveraging capabilities at ports in the Eastern Region to provide integrated services that meet vessel needs efficiently and quickly. The initiative aims to enhance the operational efficiency of maritime traffic in the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the services include supplying ships with provisions and medicines, facilitating crew changes, and providing refueling and water services, alongside other operational requirements that ensure the continuity of maritime voyages. These services are designed to address the essential needs of vessels, ensuring that operations proceed without delays.

To improve access, Mawani will provide an updated list of ship financing agents and fuel service providers. This move will enable ship owners and operators to communicate directly and coordinate their needs promptly, streamlining operations and reducing potential bottlenecks in service delivery.

The Knowledge and Service Hub plays a crucial role by operating around the clock, receiving inquiries, and directing requests. This enhances response times and service quality, ensuring that ship operators can rely on timely support and information.

This initiative forms part of Mawani's broader efforts to support maritime traffic, strengthen supply chain reliability, and affirm the readiness of Saudi ports to provide services under all circumstances. By focusing on these key areas, Mawani aims to bolster the efficiency and reliability of shipping operations in the Arabian Gulf.
