Mawhiba Opens Registration for Kangaroo Math Competition

Riyadh: The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), in partnership with the Ministry of Education, has announced the opening of registration for the Kangaroo Mawhiba Math Competition. Students can register through April 7 via the foundation's official website and app, with the competition set to take place on April 17 and 18.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the competition is open to students from the third grade of elementary school through the third grade of high school. The annual event employs a multiple-choice format that is tailored to specific grade levels, aiming to both challenge and inspire young mathematicians.

The Kangaroo competition, originally founded in Australia in 1980, has grown into one of the world's largest scientific contests. It now involves approximately six million students across 70 countries. The initiative seeks to enhance problem-solving skills and illustrate the practical application of mathematical concepts in a competitive and enjoyable learning environment.
