Media Ministers of Member States of Coalition for Supporting the Legitimacy in Yemen hold a meeting in Jeddah 5
Yemeni Minister of Information affirmed that Yemen will not forget the sincere position of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense to form a coalition to support the legitimacy in response to the appeal, which was launched by President Abd Rabuh Mansur Hadi to save Yemen and its people suffering from the oppression of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, thanking the United Arab Emirates for its efforts in various fields and to all countries which supported legitimacy in Yemen.
For his part, Chairman of the National Information Council of the United Arab Emirates Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber expressed his pleasure at the presence of the ministers of media of the Member States of the Coalition for Support the Legitimacy in Yemen in their meeting in Jeddah.
Dr. Al-Jaber said that Yemeni forces, backed by the Coalition, have achieved qualitative victories with the continuation of the military and humanitarian operation to liberate Hodeidah, ensure the arrival of humanitarian aid to the Yemeni people and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, and stop Iranian interference in the country by preventing the smuggling of weapons through the port of Hodeidah, as well as securing international waterways, by stopping the threat of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias to the navigation in the Red Sea.
He added that the restoration of the legitimate government of the port of Hodeidah enhances the chances of reaching a peaceful solution and puts pressure on the coup Houthi militias to sit at the negotiating table and break the deadlock in the political process.
