Minister of Communications discusses means to enhance partnership in digital economy and e-government with his counterparts in several countries

Riyadh, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, met today with the Minister of Communications and Digitalization of Ghana, Ursula Owusu; the Minister of State in charge of Digital Economy and Innovation in Djibouti, Maryam Hamdo Ali; the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy in Nigeria, Prof. Isa Ibrahim; and the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy of the Gambia, Ousman Bah.

The meetings that took place ahead of the General Assembly of the Digital Cooperation Organization in Riyadh discussed strengthening partnerships in the digital economy, leadership in e-government by benefiting from the Kingdom’s pioneering experience, supporting the expansion of leading Saudi technology companies, in addition to stimulating entrepreneurship to empower small and medium enterprises.
