MINISTER OF ENVIRONMENT PARTICIPATES IN LAUNCHING PIERRE FABRE MIDDLE EAST’S GREEN MISSION INITIATIVE


Lebanon’s Caretaker Minister of Environment, Dr. Nasser Yassin, reiterated the necessity of fostering a green economy and establishing the “Lebanon Green Investment Fund”, which he had launched the COP 28 conference. This fund aims to steer investments strategically towards six key sectors for a sustainable future.

During an event celebrating Pierre Fabre Company’s “Green Mission” success in Sin el Fil, Minister Yassin emphasized environmental responsibility. The event showcased Pierre Fabre’s initiative to transform the area near its offices into a green space, featuring the planting of pine trees and installation of solar panels.

Naiim Hanna, the company’s General Manager, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship and expressed aspirations to expand green initiatives regionally.

The event also included a video demonstrating Pierre Fabre employees’ active participation in agricultural activities, highlighting their dedication to the company’s values.

Additionally, a banner was unve
iled at the Sin el Fil roundabout, detailing the Pierre Fabre initiative and promoting the importance of sustainability in Lebanon’s urban centers.
